I am a junior, honors student studying aerospace engineering with a focus in rocket propulsion at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. During my freshman year, I accepted a co-op with Gulfstream Aerospace, in Savannah, Georgia. At Gulfstream Aerospace, I worked in the Innovation, Engineering, and Flight department, with my first rotation being in Certifications, and my second rotation being in Doors, Equipment & Furnishings, and Special Missions. For the upcoming spring of 2024 semester, I am interning at SpaceX's Starbase, Texas location as an Automation and Controls engineering intern.
Outside of work and school, I dedicate my time to the Experimental Rocket Propulsion Laboratory (ERPL), a student-registered organization at Embry-Riddle. During my freshman year, I worked on Juno, a modular, liquid bipropellant rocket engine that just completed being manufactured and is targeting its first hot fire in the Spring of 2024. Over the past year and a half, the bulk of my time has been spent working on Draco, a project that will develop the infrastructure necessary to safely and consistently test-fire ERPL's liquid rocket engines locally. The first test-fire conducted with this system will be with Juno in the Spring of 2024.
